When did you know the photography/video industry was for you?

I knew photography was for me back in 2007 when I got to watch and sit in on a professional portrait shoot.

How did you get your current position?

I got my current position when my current rep recommended that I apply for it.

How did your training or schooling prepare you for your job?

Not really at all. I went to school for business, didn’t finish. Most of what I’ve learned has been self-taught.

What was the greatest obstacle you had to overcome in pursuing your career?

My greatest obstacle was not having a degree. This meant that I had to be that much better at what I do.

Who would you name as the most influential person in shaping your career? Why?

The person that was the biggest influence on me would have to be Scott Kelby, because I’ve always admired his creativity and gift for teaching and having fun while teaching.

If you could be compensated for your work with something other than money, what would it be?

I would be compensated with the gift of health.
